I just installed the F90 but when i turn on the car i'm getting a loud pop out of the speakers. i'm a noob at this so any help would be great. Thanks Quote Link to post Share on other sites

terron Posted November 15, 2008 Report Share Posted November 15, 2008 I'm going to venture a guess that you have an amp in the car. The most simple fix is as follows: Make sure the +12v remote wire going to your amps is powered from the wire labeled "System Remote Control" on the AVIC HU. If you use your cars accessory wire instead. If the problem persists, you need a bit more of a delay. You can test this by disconnecting the remote terminal at the amps and turning the HU on. Once its fully booted, touch the +12v remote wire to its terminal and see if there is a pop. There shouldn't be. axxman Posted November 16, 2008 Report Share Posted November 16, 2008 if you googlel avic d3 mustang, you should be able to find this guy on the mustang forums that did a whold write up with photos on his install in an 06 gt. he had a solution for that problem as well.
