CXL99
Just found these at Walmart. I like this one a little bit better because the rubber is a little bit softer. The key to the size is using a standard hose or faucet washer. It was a lot easier to put on the knob as well.

madsonp
Here is my solution. I made a new knob out of Stainless. Works great. Â I like that!
CXL99
The stainless looks great! I'd like to have that but add a knurled rubber inset into the knob so that you could grip it well. . . Â How in the world did you make the knob? Or is it from another piece of equipment? thomashohl
I'm a machinist. It took about 15 minutes on a lathe. I wanted to put a knurled grippy surface on it but it works perfect like it is so I left it.
thomashohl
I will post a drawing when I get a minute in case anyone knows a friend that has a machine shop. It's very easy to make out of a solid bar of stainless.
thomashohl
Here is how the knob works for the F90BT I think I made the overall size about .860 and the old knob is about .800 so it's not much bigger than stock. It's about .300 thick.
CXL99
Cool! I'm going to run out to my fully equipped machine shop and whip one up real quick. . . not! You may have a market for these little guys. . . as there are most likely very few members here that have access to the equipment and or skill to create one of these. gfedge
Thomas, If you end up making a few of these for your fellow avic lovers, I would be very interested in a replacement knob.
