AR_159
Since a few weeks while avic 900 is starting a windows message appears on the screen :" "This application failed to start last time. Do you want to reset to factory defaults an lose all your POI's, tracks and settings ? YES / NO" I informed Pioneer. They told me to make an complete software update (WINDOWS + FIRMWARE) at a customer service center. After having done this the error message futhermore appears. What shall I do ? I have attached this warning to this post Thanks to all who may help me...
wonderdiva
After editing my Image.res file to customize my icons I received that exact same message the first time I turned on the ignition after the car sat overnight. It went away and 'knock on wood' it has not been back.
AR_159
@ wonderdiva: Thanks for your comment. The problem now is I do not even know how to change the image.res files. I can not really say it happens every morning or every second start attemp the engine or what ever else reason is responsible. The worst thing of all is, that Pioneer themselves are not even able to classify this message....
rderango
i didnt do any modifications (except for fw 2) and i have received the message too, about 2 weeks ago. lseguy1
i received that message once after installing my splash screen. Hasnt appeared since. If it occurs again, I plan to simply push the reset button on the front of the head unit and see if that helps. But again..it's Windows...with that in mind.
CatchMeIfYouCan631
I got that message too, I actually created a thread about it asking what it is and such. When it came up for me I pressed no and reset it, and it hasn't come back since.
