Better question is, will the bluetooth work, while plugged into the ipod adapter. And that answer is also yes. Will this unit charge your phone too? Why yes it will. I would recommend the apple branded composite cable though. Will the voice recognition work with the iphone's ipod and phone as well, why yes it will. cranbers Posted December 30, 2008 Report Share Posted December 30, 2008 It's all a matter of personal preference I guess, the one I got was defective I guess, rather then go through all the hassle I just bought an apple branded one since they are so widely available, what I also discovered though was how much nicer it was. Here are the comparison pictures, I mean there is no comparison. Much more streamlined, durable and higher quality. While listening to Sirius, can i have a diffrent Visual on the screne...I.E if i hook up an Ipod or somting to a Video Imput, can i view a picture slide show on the screen while music is playing?
