gloose Posted December 30, 2008 Report Share Posted December 30, 2008 I looked on crutchfield and it said the F90BT would not fit my 2002 GMC Yukon without Bose and with Onstar. I currently have an aftermarket stereo and was wondering if anyone has put the F90BT unit in a yukon or if it is possible to make the unit work even if its not suppose to fit. chicken999 Posted December 31, 2008 Report Share Posted December 31, 2008 Hey, I have a 2003 silverado and they told me it would not fit, then they said I had to remove some brackets to make it fit, but mine went right in with no modifications at all, looks like it came from the factory to tell you the truth, couldn't be happier. I do think that 2003 was the year of a newer body style though, which could of had a different dash/radio setup than your 2002, but I doubt it would be that diferent. I would go for it. D-Din in that truck isnt a direct fit. you will have to modify the sub dash to mount and the outer trim to fit. you can alternatively get the newer sub-dash and outer piece but it still needs some modification to work.
