S4
actually...i think pioneer should come up with some way to get all the ipods working. Absolutely. It's absurd that they don't support all of them.
freakfreak
I was quite disappointed that my older 20 GB didn't work. I bought a new 120 GB classic with my F90, which works fine. I thought that the older iPod I had on hand would make a nice backup. It is a fact that Pioneer does list all of the iPods compatible with their units on their site, if you really look for it. Pioneer could have done a better job of pointing out the fact that older iPods weren’t compatible. I researched this deck extensively on Pioneers site pre-purchase. That information was not made as clear as it should have been judging from the reactions in this forum and my personal experience. Maybe Pioneer and Apple are in cahoots to force consumers to upgrade? One would assume that iPod compatibility means iPod compatibility. Of all of the iPod docks I have seen this one is the only one that is incompatible with legacy units.
