TBSS Posted February 7, 2009 Report Share Posted February 7, 2009 I had a AVIC Z2 installed in my 2007 TrailBlazer SS, the installer never hooked up the illumination wire the first time. I went back and had them try to fix it, but now the map is in nightmode all the time and my auto headlights do not turn themselves on. Where is the illumination wire suppose to be connected? TBSS Posted February 10, 2009 Author Report Share Posted February 10, 2009 Thanks, I found this tutorial http://www.ss-shootout.com/tunes/index.html I tied into the rear wiper switches illuminaion wire (brown with white stripe). The only thing I don't like about it is the dash lights come on before it gets dark out and the headlight switch does not seem to be able to shut them off.[/img] Quote Link to post Share on other sites
