I just ordered a F90BT (gets delivered tomorrow) and i want to know what is the suggested method for "bypass". I have seen the hardware bypass and the software bypass and both are pretty straight forward. My issue is that i have read in numerous different threads that the software bypass still requires some hardware modding. Is this true? or can i have them install my head unit without ANY modifications to the harness etc... and then just modify the parking brake speed in the .ini files as per the software mod suggests? I agree with catch too. to do the software bypass, you STILL need to ground the parking. to do the hardware, you STILL need to ground the parking wire too. so whats one more mute wire? you can ground then both into the ground wire provided by your harness. DONT FORGET TO MOVE THE MUTE WIRE FROM PIN 1 TO PIN 4 WITH A FLATHEAD SCREWDRIVER. details are in my sig. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

I like to love and I think its better to spread the love around then flame on noobs. Even though the answer has been answered already and there are step-by-step instructions on how to bypass. This dude here ask the same question, we give him the answer, and he ask it again, thats not all. He even PMs me asking me the question we are answering now, like seriously c/ped it to me asking me if he should ground the mute and parking break wires or not. Which i did politely answer earlier, i replied politely, and everyone else did too... and the DIY also says to in the step-by-step. I mean when we say move the pin and ground it... that KINDA means its not grounded yet. I dunno, all I know was that I did the bypass... without asking for any help, searched it and did it without a hitch and i got no love for it. i feel like should get a medal or a cookie at least. instead im just rewarded with mobile porno on the freeway to school. but ill spoonfeed and not flame, even though im pretty sure this guy didnt really search, SINCE THE DETAILS ARE ACTUALLY IN MY SIGNATURE (answers are kinda staring straight at em).
