marsu
Hi everybody, finally my first post. I've read a lot during the last weeks, managed some hacks - but one question remains, and the manual isn't very helpful: Is there any way to only use 3D-navigation? The "no-north-up in 2D"-issue is bothering me as well as all of you, but in fact, I don't use the 2D-screen at all. Unfortunately, while navigationg after some time, my unit (F700) switches from 3D to 2D. Any way to prevent that? I have tried the search - to no avail

S4
Did it do that before you made any mods?
marsu
Yeah, did it from day 1. Maybe I'll have to live with it, because in all other respects, the F700 works like a charm - thanks to this forum.
CatchMeIfYouCan631
By overhead view, there's a little wrench icon, press it and adjust the miles setting to max. That should take care of it
ebbro
Mine has done the same thing, but only 2 or 3 times since I've owned the unit (today being the latest). Only solution I have is press the 3D button to get it back in 3D.
