Just got a question about the gps location. - Im thinking about putting the gps antenna on the rear deck but I have 20% tints. Would the tints interfere with the GPS antenna? - Can i put the antenna on the front dash passenger corner? would this work? I do have a V1 radar, would this affect the gps antenna? thanks guys? skon1etzk0 Posted March 5, 2009 Report Share Posted March 5, 2009 I have mine on my dash, on the drivers side way in the corner, its not even really noticeable, and works fine. Depending on what brand of tint you have, it CAN interfere with the signal. I would recommend putting it up front, away from it, but if you know what brand of tint you have you may be able to google it and find out if there is interference. (for example, formula One Pinnacle films will not interfere, but others will) Quote Link to post Share on other sites

1loudls Posted March 5, 2009 Report Share Posted March 5, 2009 i have mine stuck right on the top of the head unit under the dashboard(there is no metal above the radio, just plastic vents) and it has great reception, and no one can see it and ask, "what the hell is that on your dash?"
