sportsfan21
In the D2 manual, it says that when its set to ILLUMI, the ambient light sensor will detect the amount of light available and dim the screen accordingly. Where is this sensor? Everytime I turn it to illumi, no matter how bright it is out, it turns the screen into Nighttime mode. I don't like leaving it on AUTO because I drive with my lights on a lot and don't want the screen in night mode. Any ideas?
cntrylvr79
If you look in the lower right corner of he screen oyu'll see a small rectangle. That's the light sensor. However it doesn't switch the map from day to night view. It will only change the brightness of the display. You can see it in action at night. Just cover the light sensor and you'll see the screen get brighter.
Brook
Isn't it the other way around? When I turn my overhead light on, it gets bright, and when I turn it off, it dims.
