qwerty14u
well Im pretty sure there is service out in L.A. I believe you might have to have the unit on for 30-45 min. to connect. And allso I dont believe that the would be a problem with your unit being connected with a bypass. I have min done with a hard wire bypass and msn direct is working Where is your location? stacx325
Mine did the same after a reboot but I fixed it. Wait untill the system boots up then go to the msn status screen then reboot hold the eject button and the resetpin down at the same time that should fix the problem. dharms
Had similar experience even after resetting. Called MSN Direct support and they advised that the unit had to be on when they sent the signal to initiate the account. I had them do it while I was in the truck and waited for 20 minutes and everything worked just fine. The support person remarked that the 20 minute wait is something Pioneer does not really let you know. Hope this helps.
DarkMaster
I still have this problem only mine says Firmware update failed please reinstall a proper firmware... It sucks cause i know that to fix it i will have to send my unit back but i don't use the feature so i think i will ignore it
