CRAZYKC
So I installed the Ipod adapter today, and I am getting no sound. The display comes up, and I can see it is playing, but there is no sound. Any clues?
fuseman13
swap the cables. You have them backwards
sportsfan21
swap the cables. You have them backwards
Well its actually just the one; but you have the idea right. The black end of the IP bus cable goes into the iPod adaptor and the blue end goes into the AVIC. Flip the IP bus around so that its oriented like that and it'll work.
cntrylvr79
Or instead of plugging the ipbus cable into the blue port of the ipod interface, plug it into the black port. The orientation of the cable itself doesn't matter. The ends are color coded to help prevent these problems, not too many people notice it though.
InterruptVector
you'd think with the color coding and all it wouldn't be as frequent... ;)

Hell I don't and I do this stuff all day long.
