khmerfire Posted August 9, 2009 Report Share Posted August 9, 2009 when i am parked the compass is off and when i start moving the direction goes the right way and sometimes when i come to a stop light it goes wrong again.Anybody have any ideas what could possibly be wrong? bloodninja Posted August 9, 2009 Report Share Posted August 9, 2009 I would venture a guess to say that the compass is entirely based on direction of travel, and therefore would have a high probability of being incorrect when you're not moving. There is no _compass_ in the Navi, only a GPS receiver, and it can surmise direction of travel if there is a movement. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
