slippin3
Hey Guys, I am having a problem. I have a monitor that I want to use at car shows etc for movies. The monitor ONLY has a VGA input, and the AVIC only has a Yellow Composite. Does anyone know if I can get these two to work easy? Most shops around me are saying no. The other problem is that the screen is a widescreen..... will that pose an issue? Thanks John
miotoo
Which AVIC is this exactly?
slippin3
Avic F90BT... arent they all the same?
Swift1113
Take a look around eBay... I seem to remember seeing VGA ----> composite cables there before for very cheap. I don't think the widescreen ratio will work at all though...
miotoo
What you will need is a VGA scaler, something like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6817707055 or a more economical option: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0369935792
joegr
Most computer monitors will not be bright enough to see well in a car.
slippin3
Yeah, its for car shows, usually indoors. I am thinking: http://cgi.ebay.com/CCTV-Composite-Vide ... 286.c0.m14 I wonder if the resolution will be ok. I am not looking for high def, its only a composite cable. -John
