gar_lei
does anyone know if I could make it "all region"? or it will be fixed to one region until I change it again. If so, do I have a limit like most PC drives? THANKS!
VBLUE42
Why don't you just follow the service manual posted on this site and test it yourself?
Eldorado
The easiest way to watch DVDs with othere regions might be to make a back-up with i.e DVD shrink. I guess there are also other SW availible to remove the region code.
adamzpily
I know this thread is old .But i think i found some thing. I know that Pioneer use to have region selection in DVD players by hardware mods. Maybe that also apply to our players.take look at the picture. if some body from other regions than 1 can confirm the diferences also resistor values used. I maybe wrong but i will try with 120ohm and some pot in series to get the right voltage.Se what happens.
jock
I just tried changing the resistors inside the unit, and it still didn't change the region code for the DVD player.
