I am pretty sure it is possible - I have a friend who is going to put EU maps on his US F900BT unit. I am very close to buying a Z110BT and a F10BT and see if I can do it. I´ll post here when I can confirm he has done it. I think the DVD player will keep its region and I am not sure if the radio is going to be 100% functional. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Thank you for contacting Pioneer Electronics, Inc. U.S. models will only provide map information for the U.S. and Canada. They will not support the map structure for another country. There is only one answer they can give when they have region specific products with different pricing. Replies like this has not stopped the avic411 community from finding and developing work-arounds, I am not yet convinced that it cannot be done. I think this is a question of software not hardware.
