Grxmites
Hello: i noticed you can put a rear video with the video (yellow rca) cable. Anyone know if you can put it to where u can play the dvd just to the back and in the front still use the navigation? thanks JON
VBLUE42
No, the F/X series is not dual zone.
pkbristol
My F910 does dual zone. I have a second monitor in the headrest, if i play a dvd it comes up on the second monitor, on the head unit at the same time i can watch the dvd or satnav. Paul.
Newman
Its still not dual zone. you would not be able to have the DVD playing in the back and have ipod playing in the front for example.
dmalone
So just to clarify...even if you cannot play a DVD in the back and iPod up front, can you still use navigation, or will the map show on the back monitors?
Newman
i cannt confirm this at all but according to what pkbristol says it sounds like that is the case. but again, i cannot say for sure or not. just going by his word.
VBLUE42
With the F/X series, what ever is on the main screen will be mirrored on the rear monitors. Thats it, there is no dual zone for F/X series. This does not include the F10BT as that unit is the Euro version of the Z110BT. That unit is dual zone.
Mr Nice Guy
I installed two monitors in my head rests today. I can confirm that you can play a dvd on the back monitors and use the navigation up front. The dvd continues to play and I have full use of the navigation. The only thing I don't like is that the song or movie is muted not paused while on a call. Also I can't listen to the radio or any other output while playing a dvd. I have the Avic X910bt, running the latest software, and the the hardware hack.
VBLUE42
Also I can't listen to the radio or any other output while playing a dvd. I have the Avic X910bt, running the latest software, and the the hardware hack. Thats because its not dual zone.
