aleicgrant
I am going back to factory not because of any fault to the Z110 but that because my STUPID car is going to fight me at every turn. I have a 2009 Audi which has a DIGITAL turn on for amps/speakers and no matter what we do with two different types of harnesses (which combined cost me almost $500) dont work. Almost three months of wasted work and money So the whole thing is going up for sale. Anyone interested keep an eye on the classifieds. Z110 HD tuner Sirius Ipod cable MSN lifetime card from Best Buy URGH THIS KILLS ME (and my installer)
ikon66
that's a real shame aleic, thought you may have sorted a solution by now of course you could keep the unit and sell the TTS
aleicgrant
ha ha ha ha. In light of how mad I am right now, thanks for the good laugh. I really thought I had it sorted with the Dietz stuff (and spending almost $400us to get it) but no go. I am so pissed that Audi decided to do a digital turn on for the USA MARKET ONLY. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr well back to factory I go. at least i am getting a 2010 unit. Wont be as nice though

srcstc
Automakers are making it increasingly hard for people to add aftermarket radios. But can't you just replace the speakers/amp to solve the problem? Rich
aleicgrant
I have a 13 speaker set up and replacing those and amps would cost probably 4k plus
srcstc
I have a 13 speaker set up and replacing those and amps would cost probably 4k plus You could get a set of components for the front and coaxials for the rear and 1 or 2 subs and power them all by a 5 channel amp. you could do this for a little over 1k
aleicgrant
funny you should say that. My installer suggested the following Audison LRx 5.1K for an amp Audison Bitone 1 for a processor match with some higher end interconnects and I might be back in business
james2266
Can you let me know where in the world you can get an Audison Bit One and a LRx 5.1k for under $1300!?!? I would love to know. I just paid $800 for my Bit One and that is now worth $900 according to my sources in Canada. They want $1800 for an LRx5.1k! I have found no internet sources for either of these items either.
