jemiljan
After updating our AVIC F7010BT we keep getting the following message when we attempt to connect to the iPod "Updating VR settings" message. This goes on for a few minutes, and then it will proclaim that it's happy and everything's updated- until the next time you restart the car and attempt to do the same. Any ideas why this keeps coming up? It never used to before.

smith1701
The VR has a setting in the settings menue. You need to use it whenever you add new music to your ipod. if you dont do this, your voice command wont work properly. Once you sync it once...untill you add music...your good. Just select off in the menue. Speeds up boot time aand isnt annoying any questions feel free to email me. I work in retail and sell this/and own it.
