Take out the SD card...and disconect the Ipod/iphone. Much faster. Then after it boots a little..as in responding...plug back in. Its just like a computer..the more stuff you have starting up with windows...the longer it takes

Hi man. Ok this is interesting. First off...I sell and own the unit so any questions feel free. Ok so I have a blackberry. If you call someone by dialing from the phone...and then hangup from the unit..it might still not play the audio/music from the unit. if you get a call and the other person hangs up...it might not hang up your phone so...you will still be on a call. If you call somone on the phone and disconect the call/hang up before the number calls the phojne...bada bing...wont hang up. The unit just has a few bugs in it. The light on my 710 isnt exactly bright iether. Now I know that you can make it whatever color you want by adjusting it in the menue. For your..I went out to my car and tried playing around. It is its brightest on the one of the 3 main colors. red, green, or blue. THis is because there are 3 little LED lights that change intensity for whatever color you try and make. The only way to make it brighter is to make a color by making the 3 individual colors brighter. That worked but the color was off. Hope this helps. The VR has a setting in the settings menue. You need to use it whenever you add new music to your ipod. if you dont do this, your voice command wont work properly. Once you sync it once...untill you add music...your good. Just select off in the menue. Speeds up boot time aand isnt annoying any questions feel free to email me. My Blackberry Tour also has this issue sometimes. Redo the contacts after a full boot of the phone.

I have this happen as well...on the ipod. Its almost like you can hear data being transfered from the pod to the unit. Annoying but it does it one mine as well my friend...no worries its your deck.

Hey man. Mine does the same thing. Its programmed to only show you the name of the caller on the map screen. I guess to not cover the ipod wheel and im guessing it cant go and cover the main menue. I would not mind if it covered the ipod section on the right...for a call. Besides...your not going to pick a song...while driving...and talking on the phone. lol its annoying..but mine does do the same...its not your deck. Dont worry my friend.
