  1. I am sure this is an eay fix but I have tried everything and I even read the manual. When I connect my IPhone into my unit and switch to IPod music wont play, my unit says stopped on the head unit ipod screen. How do I switch the stopped to play so I can listen to my ipod? thanks for the help
  2. Hi, I have the x910 and a iphone 3gs as well. When you are connected to the unit you have to go onto your iphone in the settings and pair the phone thru that. Hit systems, genral, bluetooth (make sure it on), and devices, this will pair your phone to the unit. the phone should pick up the x910 and should be stored into your phone, then connect. hope that helps
  3. I agree the format on the 3gs for phone number has the (xxx)xxxxxxx rather than xxxxxxxxxx did the phone book editing work... if so how did you do it.. If not is there another way to edit the numbers... went to apple store yesterday and there isnt a way that they know to edit it on the phone.
  4. the names and numbers on my HU match my phone and still when an incoming call is reveived it still just shows the number... I am getting so tired to have to look at my phone to see who is calling. I bought this unit because I read that this model adopted well with the Iphone... I am so dissapointed.
  5. please read all about the x910 in the forums
  6. I just reformatted my contacts so the HU can match up with it and still just numbers. When a contact appears on the HU, example my HU has Mom Mobile because the iphone forces you to choose mobile, home, work etc... could that be the reason why the name doesnt appear when she calls.
  7. Wow, I couldnt have said it better... I am very dissapointed with my x910bt as well. I too got a decent price but still with todays technology I would have thought Pioneer could have come up with a better unit for the money.
  8. I have an IPhone 3GS and have paired and uploaded all my contacts to the system. When a call is reiceved the number and not the name of an uploaded contact appears. Why doesnt the name of my contact appear?
  9. Is that if you unplug the iPhone, take it with you, then plug back in when you get back in the car? Or, do you have to leave it plugged in to get it to start back at the same place when turning car back on? yes, if you unplug and leave the car it continues where it left off
  10. Today I learned when listening to my music on my Iphone when I leave my car and then return, no matter how long I am gone the music returns to where it left off.
  11. lindsey09, thanks very much for this feedback as it addresses several very specific questions that were on my mind. So, the 25 seconds boot time is until you can actually start using the controls of the head unit? Is that normal for a unit like this? I suppose in general when I turn on my car I just go and don't need to mess with the controls or stereo much. But, I could imagine it might feel annoying if you were just sitting there waiting to use it. Funny that 25 seconds seems like a long time in our culture... "C'mon Pioneer, I don't have all minute!" The camera coming on quickly seem
  12. I have had the X910BT for about 3 weeks and I love it! I have a 3G Iphone and it works great with the bluetooth and is very clear when I am on the phone... no echos at all. It was easy to upload all my contacts. I have steering wheel control and rear view camara and both work amazingly. The boot time is about 25 seconds but the rear view camara comes on in about 3-5 seconds and the music starts playing around 10 seconds. Voice recon is nice as well and most of the time does what I ask it to do on the first attempt. I wish the navigation had voice recon too. The navigation is easy to use and na
  13. look on Ebay... they have it there for about $1500
  14. Where did you happen to purchase the unit? Thanks, Bryan And I wonder if he is liking the unit? Please post any likes and dislikes! I had the x910bt installed in my Navigator last week. I purchased a NIB unit on Ebay for $780 with free shipping. To answer some of the previous questions...Yes, the rear camara works before full boot up. So far the system works well and I am very pleased with my purchase. My Iphone works great with the bluetooth and is very clear thru my speakers. Voice activation works very nice as well, but I dont understand why Pioneer didnt make the Navi
