Munch73 Posted November 23, 2009 Report Share Posted November 23, 2009 My GPS shows me going sideways after being reset multiple times. I think its the VSS sensor wire. I need to know which wire is the VSS wire coming out of the back of my AVIC z1 to try to connect it or check its connection. The speed pulse shows "0" and the speed is "not available" on the guage screen. How do i identify the VSS or speed pulse wire on the back of the unit? thanks Quote Link to post Share on other sites
garrettoomey Posted November 23, 2009 Report Share Posted November 23, 2009 Have you gone to the 3d Calibration screen, and reset all calibration settings. That should fix your problem with sideways. If your speed pulse shows zero, then it is not connected correctly (or at all). Quote Link to post Share on other sites

bigman411 Posted November 29, 2009 Report Share Posted November 29, 2009 i cant believe i got to open up my center console again. ive opened it like 10 times to try and fix the connection. i have to connect the pink speed pulse wire again. it is reading 0 sometimes and if i bang the side enough times, it comes back on. sometimes when i start the headunit, it will just come on and work fine. its wierd.
