VBLUE42,

so which head unit u have now? the Z110 or X910?

DNX9960.

Thats funny and you are a mod for a Pioneer site... Is it that much better than the z?

Im also a mod at the Kenwood forum. Both units are nearly equal but the navi in the 9960 is better.

I had the same thoughts.... and after checking out his videos of the KenWood, I'm actually very much impressed... although, I'm still floored by Pioneer's stuff....

To me..the KenWood is too cluttered/confusing.... although it's Navi is a tad bit better.... BUT and IMO, the KenWood sucks everywhere else... at least for my needs.... which involve far less of Navi, and more media....

Yes but the navi software stays the same as what is currently on the 110.

Supposedly that involves an update to the maps....

Not trying to stoke flames... but some might get confused with the terminology....

Navi=the same

Possibly upgraded maps...

Correct?

The maps will be upgraded. But nothing we wanted to see changed, added, or fixed with the navi software is going to change. At least as far as the 120 owners manual indicates. The X920 also has the same maps and navi as what the 120 will have and it works exactly as the 110 does and has the same lack of features and minor bugs. So the navi will be the same as whats on the 110 now.

from previous experience owning the AVIC-D3, i find that its important when going to a commercial address to not only get the address but also to get the phone number. I found with my D-3 if i could not find it as POI or by using the address, plugging in the telephone number found the location i was looking for. I cant remember if the Z110 has this option. its also easier to plug in the phone number than the address in those instances
