Pioneer Z1 won't eject or tilt

My car was in the shop for 10 days and when I got it back today (exterior work, body work as well as paint), I hit the eject button and nothing happens. I pull up the tilt options and when I press tilt + nothing happens either. I typically have my unit set to automatically tilt when it’s turned on, and it’s not tilting on startup either. I've done a hard reset clearing all the memory, push button reset with a paperclip, switched the fuse, you name it. After an unsuccessful conversation with pioneer today I'm hoping I can find some help here.

Have you called the shop and told them? Maybe they felt they needed some fancy tunes while working on your car and *$%#ed your headunit up with their meaty laborer paws.

They've agreed to pay for the repairs, but I was hoping to avoid the dreaded unit removal and send off to pioneer.
