Been there also ; was kinda time wastin’ to try to convert protected m4v to avi from Itunes with a lot of converter apps or what you call’em until actually managed to find a good solution outta this. Anyways, solved my problem with some Tunebite Converter app. Used Tunebite to convert protected m4v to avi, t'was actually pretty easy. Dunno, give it a try, should work for u. Thanks - I'll give it a look. I don't really care about "protected" files, but just finding an extension and resolution that the overly fussy Pioneer likes would be good.
