Why would you have to drive a certain amount of miles for it to be there? 3D Hybrid is important for features such as the 3D image map you will get at a metropolitan location. Also, it is important if you want to evaluate slope in the diagnostic graphic. The reason you need to drive a certain amount of miles is the Z1 is using the speed pulse to evaluate the 3D Hybrid mode and it needs a certain amount of pulses to get that information.
