Well they did partner with iGo for the F series and that was the best damned in dash navi I have ever owned. Its just the rest of the unit didn't work properly. I guest the relationship with the iGo software wasn't a cordial one. Its a shame because they had it going down the right road with that partnership.

Will we be able to stream music with the iPod/iPhone with Bluetooth and control the playlists/functionality on the headunit? Currently all we can do is pause and play via bluetooth.

Not until the BT profile in the phone is updated.

Just found this article... Looks like with iOS 5 you would be able to stream artist names and songs. But now the question is, will the new AVIC firmware support it?

I believe it already does.
