Well, initially (and how pioneer expects you to do it) you burn a CD with images you want, stick in the disk and change the background (pages 96 and 97 in the manual). If you have 5 images on the CD, you can't load all the images to the drive and then later switch between them without the CD. You need to insert the CD with the images every time you want to SWITCH or CHANGE them. So what I did was hack the hard drive and connect the drive to my PC (see this post: http://avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=728 on how to do that). Then I loaded the images on my CD manually right to the drive and I also overwrote the boot image so that the Pioneer boot logo was gone as well.... now I don't need the CD I burned anymore. I see the backgrounds with the C5 emblem (sorry to be so anal, but you know someone else with a C6 would notice the difference). Thanks for any response... Do you have image examples? Are there any listed here: http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=56160 They post some logos with transparent backgrounds, and they are easy to make nav background out of. If you can find what you want there (or something close to it)... or if you look around in google images and find a decent "head on" view of the logo you want, post the logo and we/I/someone might be willing to make a background for you. I'll probably try the carbon first becase it goes with my black vette. Thanks again and also great site on the mods to watch vids while moving...
