cas0001 Posted August 18, 2011 Report Share Posted August 18, 2011 I want to understand how to turn off the HU while the car is running. I want to know this in case I forget to reset the bypass switch before turning on the radio. Right now the only way I know to turn it off is to turn off the car, take out the key, and open the door. Manual says to hold SRC/OFF until it powers down. When I hold the SRC *button* the screen goes blank with the only option "SourceOff" in the corner of the screen. If I touch that icon on the screen it switches to a slightly different screen, but doesn't turn off. There is no way to hold the "SourceOff" button down until it turns off.
