Wilifordmj
Is this possible I've herd of nero working, would just like conformation and\or steps on how to. I am computer literate!! Thanx
garrettoomey
I don't have the exact steps, but nero will work. You will burn the disc as an "audio cd", and be sure that you use CD-TEXT. CD-TEXT will allow the file names to be recognized as Artist, Album, Song title. Gracenotes will only pick up the album details if it's an exact copy of the original cd.
Dub-Sport
Just burn the cd as a audio not data and make sure the files are MP3 and that's is, you can even use media player to burn the cd Just make sure the file format is MP3 thats all that matter and finalizing the CD. jwq
Depends on what you want..... - If you do it as Garret suggested, you can rip to harddisk, which I guess is what you asked..... - if you do it as dub-sport, you can only play from the cd....

When did this development happen? I have had a Z1 since they came out (updated to Z3 via the hard drive) and this is the first I have heard you can transfer MP3's to the drive. Fantastic! MP3's burned to cd can be played, but NOT ripped to the drive.

ssri1
Apart from what others said about mp3 vs audio disks, one of the easiest programs to create an audio cd is http://www.burrrn.net/. Nero and Roxio also support cd-text, but by far I have seen that burrrn is the easiest software to use and FREE. I use it for all my CD burning for the Z3.
