hdsportguy
Yes,AppRadio first and secound gen have GPS antenna's to help with the NAV apps. Depending on how it was installed the antenna could be mounted in the dash (behind the radio).
mrluke
indeed , that does make sense ! Thank You
mikedecaro
The radio's external GPS antenna makes my nav apps worse. Most of the time they can't track my location until I unplug the phone.
yonel
Mike...can you just try to move the position of gps antena...one quarter left or right, and have a look....i got that problem firt time i've sticked my appradio gps antena....just because of bad "position" of the antena...with google maps i wasn't in the roads, but in buildings...til i 've changed the position
Radical! Gloves
I am in an area with good GPS reception, and I've tried my GPS Antenna in several different positions, and it still says Poor GPS signal and can't detect where I am on google maps or any other apps. What should I do?
yonel
if poor signal...maybe the gps antenna itself ? is it well pluged ?, didn't the connection get bad when you put appradio in dash ? normally with iphone, are you ok ? ( i think yes, but i ask )
