bigdaddyjosh
The option to do the Auto EQ measurement is greyed out. Ive been reading the book and it says the front speakers must be connected. Mine are not. I have a 4 channel amp with the fronts amplified and one 10" sub bridged. Anyhow, they are connected using the RCA outs, instead of by wire. Is anyone else having this problem? whohasdamos
to use this feature you must purchase the auto eq mic. Besides that im not that familiar with the setup. thanks http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/Accessories/AV-Components/CD-MC20
bigdaddyjosh
I have a mic already. You have to touch the option in the system menu. Then the faceplate slides out and you plug the mic in and then it does the test tones. My issue is that the option is grey instead of white meaning it can't be clicked on. You cant plug the mic in first because 1. the book does not say to do this until after touching the eq measurement button and 2. while the screen is down the screen is unresponsive to touch. AEDan1977
Radio has to be completely turned off with no active source playing or selected... Choose off in the lower corner of the source menu then you should be good.
