hello everyone im trying to fix my avic i clicked by accident on format mbr so i got a black screen now i followed the tutorial step by step to boot up on wince and i have a backup files too but when i click on the edit botton on the screen to copy files from my sd card to the unit nothing happens i keep tapping its too small the edit botton on the top of the screen help thnks

So you have done the format mbr fix? Why were you in there to begin with? Should be back in service mode and choosing wince formatted

After choosing win ce format. Boot into test mode and copy the files over to my flash disk from the numerous sources around.

i opened total commander/CE i copied the backup downloaded from torrent posted in this forum but the prob is when i hit the reset botton it reboots again in winCE not the pioneer splash screen (removed sd card too)

http://avic411.com/i...-the-major-fix/ you need to follow these directions. You may be loading the backup on but you got rid of info stored in MBR so it doesnt know to kick into pioneer avic software.
