franknitty69
So i saw the CES announcement of the AVIC-Z150BH and i will be purchasing it. According to the pio website and the manual it uses the SXV200V1 SiriusXM tuner which is some sort of hybrid service of both xm and sirius. I sold my Z130 last year, but kept the GEX-P920XM xm tuner because i planned on buying a new avic after CES and assumed it woud work (since it worked with the last 3 or 4 models). So my question is will the GEX-P920XM xm tuner work with the Z150BH? thx
Preroll
So my question is will the GEX-P920XM xm tuner work with the Z150BH? thx Nope. No more IP bus. The GEX series will not work with the Z150. I asked the same question at the booth since I still have an old N3 which uses the XM NavTraffic receiver. I have additional information RE: the Z150 written down in my suitcase but came home to a family emergency and haven't had time to post it.

pionara
looks like the new tuner uses some other keyed-DIN kind of connector - this might be a siriusxm "standard" connector across HU manufacturers. Take a look at the install manual - lots of good info in there: http://www.pioneerel...anual010212.pdf also interesting: http://www.pioneerel...anual010813.pdf if you are going to buy the tuner - you might want to jump on it now - looks like its about 20 bucks after 50 rebate: http://www.crutchfie...00V1-Tuner.html

LS3 MN6
Sirius XM has gone to a standard connector for HU's. The new unit supports all the features new OEM radios support and that items like the Lynx Internet Radio support (including pausing of live content, starting at the beginning of a track when you switch stations, etc). These are the first units to be SiriusXM where before they either where XM or Sirius units (the GEX was an XM unit).
amp3d
I just want to know if the Z150 FINALLY solves the Bluetooth quality issues. my z140bt has fantastic quality, if you are referring to telephone calls. I drive a loud older tacoma pickup truck and everyone says they hear me as if Im on a land line...
mstrom62
I drive a Ford Ranger PU which is kind of noisy in side. My z110 was stolen in Sept so I got a z140. I could not even use the z110, and I am using the z140 BT now, but it's still not great. If I/m on the freeway I end up taking the phone off the BT. So my experience, better, still not great though. I'm glad to see a better interface for Android though with HDMI, that is an improvement in the z150.
