Do newer Z1 units included the Pioneer Bluetooth update?

Recommended Posts

Do "newer" Z1 units include the Bluetooth update already installed on the unit?

Or do i still have to do the ISO thing?

The installers are doing the bypass for me but I didn't know if I will need to supply the disc for an update or if I even need to bother...

My install is tomorrow and I just wanted to make sure I have everything ready to go before I go down there...

Thanks!

I believe the latest batch already have the bluetooth update. I haven't tested this personally, but reports from people with the newest units have said they tried to use the bluetooth update cd and the Z1 reported the update was already loaded. You can take that to them for them to update. Or you can always do that when you get home.

Do some searching on bluetooth echo in the Z1 forums or look at the ones I pasted. I moved my mic to the drivers side column up high. I zapped my phone and re-discovered it with the volume turned down. I'm still not real happy with it, but I use it occasionally. There are some other things people tried.
