I installed my 8000 about a month ago, and am excited about the Carplay update as it was one of the main reasons for shelling out the $. I am trying the run the firmware update and it just sits there with the "Reading..." screen. How long am I supposed to wait at this screen before it flips to the next screen? I have tried two different USB sticks (different brands) with the file folder on the root of a freshly formatted drive. Please help! I tried calling Pioneer and they ran through the same things I did and then said I would have to send it in for repair. Yeah, right. Thanks in advance. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

crs353 Posted October 17, 2014 Report Share Posted October 17, 2014 I had same problem and nothing fixes it tried 2 micro sds 10 thumb drives redownloaded it 5 times. pioneer says to send it to them but i dont want to so its just going to sit here bricked i guess.....
