Can I connect my ipod video?

Of if you don't like hooking up red to the yellow connector, you can get the apple one:

Or if you want to get a docking connector, you can wired one up yourself:

I got this, installed it and it is just perfect. Havent found anything better. It charges the ipod as well and the music quality is much better than the others since it uses the data port instead of the headphone port.

I found this on ebay. I dont have it so I dont have any info or opinion. Email the guy selling it with questions.

Ok so I found a cable that attaches to dock connector and has the rca output but do I need an adapter for the back of the avic-z1. I don't see the 3 holes for the rca plugs. Do I need an adapter for this?

That is correct. It will play the audio but not video.
