Bennett2043
I've seen the pioneer ipod interface, but it really does not work well with a AVIC-D2 I've been hearing. What exactly doesn't it do? What is everyone else doing? Thanks. Bennett
whtcrxghst
It only has one line of text at the very top of the display. Very slow when going through artists. The cheapest way is to buy a mini to rca adaptor and wire it to the A/V input on the back of the unit. You can also buy units that do the same thing and charge your ipod for slightly more $
Bennett2043
What about changing songs? does that work on the pioneer interface?
whtcrxghst
Yes, its not bad if you have playlists with not too many songs and don't mind the boring display

Mr.AlMuhairi
Instead of the IPOD you can get a media player such as MG-25 or Avox. I used to use an ipod in my car, but it wasnt too practical, now I use the media player all the time. Its an option if you want. Else, just connect your ipod to the AUX audio inputs and change the option for the AUX to audio.
ogx3og
The ipod interface isn't that bad. If you don't mind taking some extra time and making a bunch of playlists i find it works just fine. The screen is boring, but hey how about driving not playing with your ipod.
