inferno2469
Anyone hook up to the steering wheel controls on an 03+ w211 E-class yet? One of you Guru's must have! How did you do it?
sportsfan21
You need to use the Pac SWI-PS. Check www.pac-audio.com to check if it'll work with your car.
inferno2469
Yeah unfortunately they dont make a SWI for the E-class. i was wondering if anyone has done any custom wiring for this?
05Stang-GT
It would take more than wiring..it would take some type of circuit....
jgx
A PAC *WILL NOT WORK*! This has been discussed many times. You need to buy the proprietary Pioneer adapter made specifically for your E-class. They do not sell them in the United States.

kleenkut13
I didn't have any luck on my Benz. I lost my steering wheel controls, but I love Z1 so much that it was still a win/win situation.
jgx
I got it working on my C AMG with a Pioneer .131 adapter. You can get brave and try that if you want. I know that some aftermarket CAN peripherals work on both C and E. The window/sunroof module that I bought works on both C and E.
