Jeffola
I have created both a CD-R and a CD-RW with at least 2.0mb of data on them. The unit tells me there is no pictures folder. but, aha there is. Any ideas?
VT FIJI
What software are you using to burn the disc? My first attempt failed, using drag and drop w/ Vista's built in burning software. I downloaded ImgBurn and my D3 recognized the image files.
Jeffola
Windows Vista! You think thats it? Keep in mind, I am using a CD-R with no other files, just the /pictures directory (like it says in the manual)
Jeffola
It turns out, that you cant use the Vista OS to burn. I used the Roxio suite and it worked flawlessly. Thanks for jarring my brain inthe right direction. Jeff
coocho
yeah i was going to suggest a burning program like nero, because you cant use windows to burn things.
tunesmich
I created a custom boot screen, but it's cropped on both sides. Is this normal, or is there a way for it to fill the whole screen?
ssrecords
500 X
coocho
yeah make sure your pictures are resized to 500x240. This will fit any screen with the 16:9 ratio.
Guest astrobill
I sized my photos according the the pixels listed in the manual as the screen pixel numbers in each direction. (136 x 72 mm) or whatever the pixel size ratios are in the spec sheet...worked good, stopped the cropping problem perfectly. Also, read p.66 of the AVICD3 manual.
