tnizzle
Just got my iPod cable installed and noticed two things. One the D3 seems to be skipping over all of my protected AAC files that were purchased through the iTunes stores and yes the interface is TERRIBLE. Any ideas on fixes for either? Thanks guys. whtcrxghst
Interface is terrible? Its one of the best interfaces out right now
tnizzle
when you have 4000 songs and try to find one that starts with a t it's pretty bad....
whtcrxghst
Go try and do that on an eclipse. Your definition of "bad" will never be the same
tnizzle
true enough, I meant in relation to the speed of the touch sensitive wheel on the actual iPod
cntrylvr79
Ahh I still say kenwood is the worst for ipod control. And as bad as this is going to sound the jensen screens seem to have the fastest, and most natural interface.... but it's still a jensen.
coocho
i agree with that kenwood statement.
esb
Can anybody verify whether they have gotten protected AACs from the iTunes store to play on the D3? That is a complete dealbreaker for me and I've not seen that limitation mentioned anywhere else.
Adidude
I just installed my D3 and I have no problem playing back stuff I downloaded from the iTunes store
whtcrxghst
I haven't had any problems either
coocho
i havent had any troubles in either my Z1 or D3
tnizzle
After reinstalling the software on the D3 and resoring the iPod now they play fine. I didn't care which was the problem just wanted it fixed, so not sure if either restore fixed the problem. Most likely the gremlin lived in the iPod not the D3, it's an earlier one that I dusted off to host files for my new deck, haven't tried my nano in there yet.
