  1. My D3 only seems to auto-connect the phone that is #1 in the list of registered phones . It is very annoying that my wife and I can't both have our phones set up with the D3 and have auto-connect work for both of us depending on who is using the car. Make sure the phone that you want to auto-connect is set to #1 in the list.
  2. I have the exact same problem. It also started about a week ago. The GPS signal seems fine. The VSS wire is hooked up and reading correctly. The speed and heading reported on the instrument screen is correct as well (and the LA map rotates correctly with my heading), so it doesn't seem like a completely hardware issue. I reset the unit once and it fixed it for a short while, but the started having the problem again. A subsequent reset didn't fix it.
  3. I just installed my D3 with bypass and thought I'd share some troubleshooting tips to verify the different parts of the bypass procedure were done correctly. Here are some possible failures: * Error message displayed while driving about incorrect installation relating to the parking brake - Parking brake wire grounded, but mute wire not grounded in new harness location. - Make sure mute wire is connected to vehicle ground and inserted into new harness location * Video & destination selection does not work while driving. NAVI Menu -> Settings ->
  4. Thanks to all of those providing the info people are requesting. It is such a great resource for the community. Now its my turn to ask. I need to find the VSS and reverse wire for a 2004 Honda Odyssey with the factory radio (no nav or RES). Its funny, but nobody seems to be asking for the parking brake wire .
  5. Can anybody verify whether they have gotten protected AACs from the iTunes store to play on the D3? That is a complete dealbreaker for me and I've not seen that limitation mentioned anywhere else.
