N3 and 6 disc changer

Anyone out there with the N3 and the Pioneer 6-dsic changer?

 

I'm having a problem where I can't play a DVD. None of the functionality works and I've tried using 2 different remotes and the menus on-screen.

 

Before you ask, no, this has nothing to do with playing a movie while the car is in motion. I just cannot play a DVD from the 6-disc changer. It does come up to the main menu of the DVD.

Which changer are you referring to? And did you connect the A/V bus cable?

I actually got it figured out. Believe it or not, the battery in the remote for the XDV-P6 was dead. I was able to use a battery from one of the other remotes I had and it worked great.

Lol. I hate when that happens. You spend hours checking wiring and ripping your hair out trying to find the problem, and lo and behold its something stupid like having bad batteries in the remote.

Yeah, funny thing is, I bought one of those other Pioneer remotes that handled AV/TV and something else, but that didn't even work with it.
