CD-BTB200 & Bluetooth Phone Compatibility Guide

Recommended Posts

No i do not get Caller ID other than the number calling! no names. Another annoying thing is that when i get a txt message the D3 just rings and rings until you do something about it.

Motorola relased a software update for the phone that fixes this problem. MOL3 is the correct version. You can DL it from here:

For the Droid you need to get the Bluetooth File Transfer program in the app Marketplace. Then you need to make sure that you disable the a2dp portion of the bluetooth handshake ie media on the phone

Hey!!

I have a motorola razr... I can't get it to autodetect, or transfer the phonebook one at a time.. any suggestions?

BTW, for the records, this is all bullshit: if two products say bluetooth, then they should have full compatabillity... I'm so tired of having to sift through proprietary solutions for reinventing the wheel by manufactuers and eventuall end up with a crippled solution. sorry for the rant,.....

can anyone post on an Sam sung SPH-A640. I got it working on my AVIC d3 but i have to connect manually every time i get in the car.

Anyone have any new info on this phone and it's capatibility with the D3? I have to manually connect through the phone every time, even with the phone registered on the D3. Can't get the phone book to transfer at all either.

I'm still under my 30 day grace period so I can trade this phone in for something else if need be.

Autoconnect:No

Basic Function: No

Phone Book Transfer: No

Voice Calling:Nope

In short the Verizon a870 will not work with the BTB 200. The phone will not pair up. I know it isn't a problem with the BTB unit because multiple Cingular phones have paired up successfully with the BTB unit. I hate Verizon for crippling their bluetooth. I'm debating about switching to AT&T. Granted there are other phones to try within Verizon but it seems like too much of a gamble to try and find one that works.
