You are saying that if I run the upgrade disc on my new Z1 (Ground to bypass) to get Z2 capability, that the Z1 will no longer be bypassed? I hope I am just misunderstanding!?!? It sounds like all the bypasses are software based (i.e. the last one was activated with the bluetooth update). Since Pioneer claims that the upgrade will make the Z1 exactly like the Z2, it stands to reason that the upgrade will nullify the current bypass (since the bypass does not work on the Z2).
