Installed D3 in my F150...Pix inside

Recommended Posts

Took a few pix of my install in my F150..Thanks to all the members for all the info on this site. Did the bypass mod and installed the VSS ,reverse wire & camera. I placed the GPS antenna on my dash tray, I cut the rubber where the antenna sits so the GPS sits flat in the tray.

are you getting a thump in your sub when you turn the d-3 on? that is if you have the ford sub

Dave

The fix for that should be as simple as providing a 5-volt turn on lead instead of 12-volt. There are different ways of reducing the voltage but any decent stereo shop should be able to point you in the right direction.

I have an AVIC Z2 in my garage and I plan to install it in my 2004 FX4 F150 this weekend.

A couple of questions:

1. Did you have any problems with the Satellite reception with the antenna placed on the dash, per your pics?

2. Are you able to view DVD while driving?
