jazzmainian Devil
I did the bypass in my new 07 Silverado. Video works good but when I start to move the vehicle I get the door chimes from hell. Did I do something wrong?
whtcrxghst
Did you use an adaptor when installing your deck?
jazzmainian Devil
Yes I used the gm module
bullseye
My H2 did that when I put the parking brake on (one click) and drove it. When the bypass is done right, the D3 thinks the parking brake is always on. It sounds like your truck thinks the parking brake is on too.
MisFit
did you try disconnecting the bypass and see if it still makes the chime
Slody4Futbol
the GM Module? Which one? Scosche? Metra? Which part number? Double check all the wiring on it and make sure you didn't short out a wrong wire. I know through the data bus you can get reverse, VSS, parking brake, and many others... just be sure you didn't ground the VEHICLES parking brake wire or anything else
shotgun_customs
If the AVIC's light green wire is connected to the parking brake and ground at the same time, the truck will think the parking brake is set and will produce the chime. Make sure you disconnected the AVIC's parking brake wire from the trucks parking brake and connect it directly to gound. You will also need to reset the AVIC to get rid of the parking brake improperly connected warning.
