EMAGDNIM
Are they compatible? Would I get the same features as if I was using the other one? I think I might just keep my CD-IB100II installed if it is instead of having to get another cable....
sportsfan21
You'll get the same features that you get when you use it with a D1/2. It'll work as an external device (if it works at all). Buy the new cable. Its $20.
whtcrxghst
It works like crap. Get the CDI200
EMAGDNIM
Okay...I've ordered one...
zoomzoom
Agreed, the old one is total crap. I only bought it to make the 3 item over 50 dollar quota. If I didn't return my D3, I would have bought the new cable as everyone has suggested.
Kingof3rdinput
But will the new cable allow a BUS in and a BUS out like the CD-IB100II? I have sirius and the ipod would be my concern. I have the CD-IB100II right now, and have had no problems. What's better about this new one?
whtcrxghst
It is a seperate grey bus connector to the D3 now, so there is no need for an in and out. It is better because it is much, much, much faster than the previous ipod interface and also transfers video through the cable if you are using a video ipod. This new cable is only for the D3 and certain 2007 CD players so far
