cntrylvr79 Posted April 28, 2007 Report Share Posted April 28, 2007 You can try it, but if the tinting on those windows contains metal (most good tint does) then it'll cause a pretty severe degredation of the reception. If you don't want to put it on the outside of the car, why not put it near one of the speaker grilles in the dash. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

pd performance Posted April 29, 2007 Report Share Posted April 29, 2007 I would probably just put it on the dash like others said. but if that is stock tint in the back like it appears to be then its probabl not metallic on that application since most gm metallic tint apears very silver/mirror like. I just stuck the magnetic plate upside down under the dash and then stuck the gps antenna to that. I get a good signal there and it's hidden.
